PreNatal YOGA Pregnant Goddess Teacher Training (8hrs)- Early Bird ($169.00)  After ($199.00)

This training will explore YOGA techniques for pregnant mommies. You will learn how to safely guide your students through all three- Trimesters of pregnancy.

Day 1
Yoga practice through the trimesters
Optimal nutrition for fertility, prenatal and postnatal
Meditations and mantras to help women prepare for a positive birth experience and motherhood
Relaxation and stress-reduction techniques to alleviate doubts, fears, negative programming and patterning
Pregnancy anatomy and alignment
Common interventions and how to help women avoid those which are unnecessary
A conscious approach to labor and birth & tips and tools for managing and transcending the intensity
Difference between obstetrical and midwifery models of care
Recommendations for the first 40 days following birth

Day 2
Importance of meditation/visualization
Pranayama – breathing techniques to aid focus during labor
Special prenatal sun salutations created by Shiva Rea
Pelvic floor awareness and strength cultivation
Standing and seated poses that build strength, encourage relaxation, and enhance flexibility
Practicing yoga with the aid of a wall and props

About the Instructor: Sloane Park has taught yoga for 20 years to all ages. She loves to share her knowledge & experience of prenatal yoga. Sloane practiced and taught yoga through three pregnancies and delivered three healthy babies via natural childbirth. Sloane also has a wonderful prenatal yoga video.
