Morgin F: This program is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a change in their life!  After four weeks, you will feel stronger, more in shape and best of all, lighter. Stacy was able to help me get to my true goal weight.  I have been trying to get there for 5 years!  Over the last five years, I had actually even give up on my goal weight and added five pounds to it!!  With the great classes at Urban Vybe and the easy to follow meal plan, the four weeks fly by.  I recommend this to all fitness levels and to anyone who is ready for a transformation.

Schelli: Transform 4 at Urban Vybe was a great experience. After months of not having exercised, it was just the motivation that I needed to kick start my fitness and diet routine to a new level. Eating unconsciously for years, this program helped me to develop an awareness of truly healthy foods, appropriate portion size and the benefits of regular exercise.   The group support and accountability throughout the program was amazing and really kept me accountable during the program. In addition, I was able to meet some great people and lose weight in a healthy way.    I would highly recommend this program for anyone that wants to take his or her health to the next level.  

 

Mike S: My experience walking into this 4 week program would be what most people would think. I wanted to change certain things in my daily life from eating to working out. However, personally I did not believe that I could make it through 4 weeks of a very specific diet and the feeling of being hungry. I based this solely on my job and my bad habits that I knew I had from trying different, smaller programs in the past. I want to be transparent with my experience for anyone reading my testimonial. I believe that doing this program for 4 weeks with my Fiancé Teresa Seymour was more fun and a little bit of a competition between the two of us, which in turn held us accountable to each other and the group more so than if I did this program by myself. When I walked into the “orientation” meeting with the team and heard how thought out and organized this was going to be, it instantly gave me motivation to be “ALL IN”; more than I have ever been with other programs I’ve tried. This included incorporating, in my opinion, a lot of vegetables which I have never done in any meal in my entire life, excluding the bad food items and drinks that were a part of my everyday life too, and getting involved in different classes other than weightlifting and cardio, such as yoga. I thought to myself “less eating and additional workouts were going to be difficult for me to accomplish”. The meetings and health information Stacy Wise provided us through the process of the 4 weeks has been hands down nothing but perfect. We all had struggles with the reality of everyday life, but she knew where and at what steps of the process were going to be the hardest. She knew the right things to talk about in our meetings and group chats to gather everyone’s attention from the hard parts and back to why we are doing this. The one thing I’ll always remember her saying, which I laughed and said to Teresa that there is no way to do this for me, was the vegetables. This I knew was going to be my hardest struggle, and Stacy’s response to this was “you have to train your mind, keep eating vegetables even though you don’t like them, your body will start wanting them”. She couldn’t have been more right. 

For anyone trying to see what the Transform 4 is all about before making the leap into doing it, just know that the program DOES work for the biggest skeptic. Whether your reasons are for a jump start into weight loss and beginning to work out or, in my case, someone who could not get past a plateau, this program WORKS. Even though you get what you put into the program, along the way you meet some amazing people that become good friends,and you get to see the success that they get from making the leap to do this program just as I did. This program is the real deal, and the people behind it are just as invested in it as you are signing up for it. GO FOR IT!!!!!!

I cannot thank you enough, Urban Vybe , Stacy Wise, and Teresa Seymour for everything they did for me, provided me, the group and the time invested to help me obtain knowledge to better my everyday life, eating habits and get past a weight that I thought I was just stuck at. I hope this helps anyone thinking about wanting to join a Transform 4 group along their journey to a better, healthier life. As they say “This is your Tribe!!”

 

Cassandra G.: My testimonial actually begins in late 2014. I had just gotten out of a terrible marriage. The scariest and ugliest things you could think of were happening. I have been a fighter from day one, but at this point in my life, I was defeated. Although I was pretty successful at work, and I was earning top grades in my Master’s Degree program, the rest of my life was in shambles. As is the case with many people, when life gets too hard, and you lack a system of support, and you do not know which way is up, you begin to let some very important things go. I was eating because I was stressed and depressed, I was depressed because I was gaining weight and could not find the time in the day to make it to the gym.

I am not one to blame anyone else, or anything else for what was happening in my life, but I knew that the relationship I was in, the toxic home environment I had, and the lack of confidence and freedom was a hurdle I did not feel I could overcome. I was buried in abuse and I could no longer look at myself in the mirror.

To make a very long and difficult story much shorter, I will get to the point of change. Once I looked up, looked at myself, and noticed the changes in my health, body and lifestyle, I knew I had to get out. I had gone from a size 8 to a size 14. I was 228 pounds. I looked tired, older than I actually am, and drained. I knew it was time for a change. I began to fight for my freedom and take back the power in my life that was stripped from me for nearly 6 years.

My first steps were small. I walked my dog for 30-45 minutes per day. I drank more water and ate smaller portions. I met with a personal trainer, which did not work out all that well, but gave me good ideas on what I could change. Through my initial efforts and increased activity and attention, I lost 22 pounds and was fitting back in to size 12 pants and dresses, which made me feel so good, and my confidence started to come back. Then, as we all do, I hit the dreaded plateau. I got desperate to get below 200 pounds. I tried it all, Herbalife, Shakeology, Advocare, Plexus, LeVel, etc. I could go on and on. I would see small changes here and there, but I knew something was missing.

In August of 2016, I started going to Urban Vybe. From my first five minutes in the building, I knew something here was different. I started trying the classes out, not knowing what to expect. I tried 30/30, yoga, small group personal training, aerial yoga, Kardio Barre. You name it, I tried it. I got to know the people and found the most incredible connection with the people and this place. This is not just a gym, it is a community. These are not just trainers and teachers, they are nutrition junkies and mentors. In the first weeks of being a member here, I broke the 200-pound plateau and was ready for more.

Stacy Wise, co-owner of Urban Vybe, who I have known for several years at this point, presented me with an opportunity to take part in Transform 4- a complete nutrition and fitness program that re-sets your mind and body. This 4-week program provides all participants with a kick-off class where you get to meet and interact with your new accountability team. Stacy and Teresa, a top-notch instructor with Urban Vybe, present you with all of the information and product you are going to need to be successful throughout the course of the program. You are given a journal to ensure you log your food intake and exercise, classes on proper nutrition and the function of food in your life, and the opportunity to work out in exercise classes lead by these two and their team at Urban Vybe.

Transform4 starts with a 3-day juice cleanse that is perfectly planned to be convenient, although trying at times. I was very used to eating what I wanted, when I wanted. The cleanse provides all the nutrition you will need, while ridding your body of the unhealthy and toxic build-up we all have in our bodies. Luckily, you are also given the expectations of each day in written form, so it is easy to follow and stay on track. Not to mention, having accountability partners, a strong support system, and others to complain to, makes it just that much more enjoyable. During the cleanse, I dropped 5 pounds. 5 pounds in 3 days was remarkable and incredible!

Once the cleanse is complete, you are expected to prepare your meals, based on the guidelines provided. You are told what you can and cannot eat how much water to take in, what you should and should not drink, and appropriate portions. You are also given your expected workout regimen. Everything is laid out for you, which takes the guessing out of it. I always found it difficult to understand the nutrition and diet portion of a healthy lifestyle, but in this program you begin to understand what portion sizes should actually look like and how much better your body feels when you are getting proper nutrition and exercise.

Every week you meet up to weigh in and check in, which helps keep everyone on track and gives us all a chance to reconnect and discuss our struggles. We are then given guidance and information on nutrition and why our bodies may be reacting to change in different ways. Stacy guides the nutrition portion and really breaks down how and why our bodies need, or do not need, certain types of foods. Teresa takes over once the nutrition portion is done and leads us in a group workout. Correction, a killer group workout, to launch us in to the next week.

Throughout this program, I lost 12 pounds, my waist is 3 inches smaller, my thighs, arms and hips are smaller and looking more toned as well. Although those are incredible accomplishments, I have to say the true reward has come from the network of people I have connected with, my change in mindset about food, and my increased strength and stamina! I do not look at food the same way and no longer use it as a crutch. I do not feel the need to make excuses regarding what I am eating, and I have found new ways to truly enjoy foods that are much better for me and my long-term health.

With the increased self-control and the on-going commitment to working out and staying active, my confidence has increased exponentially. I feel comfortable in my clothing again, and have actually experienced what it feels like to put on clothes that are too big. I look in the mirror today, and I see the person I dreamed of seeing three and four years ago. I also see someone who can accomplish more and feel \driven to reach new levels of fitness and health.

I am currently down to 173 pounds and a size 8/10, but I am not done yet. My life has changed a lot over the past 3 years, and I know that Urban Vybe and the Transform4 program have been a major part of my success. The tools provided by this team, and the community of incredibly driven individuals makes the hard work and determination it takes to accomplish your goals, worth every minute and every bead of sweat.

 

Kim G: Not only were my jeans tight, but so were my leggings.  I was worried because your clothes don’t lie about weight gain!  I was scared to get on the scale to see how much I had actually gained (15 lbs). When I heard about Transform 4, I figured I would give it a try and try to lose 5 lbs, since I have never lost more than that in a month. I saw pics from one of the other Transform 4’s and the results were amazing. Transform 4, under Stacy’s guidance taught me how to eat properly and incorporate the 3 components in life we need each week, yoga, cardio and weight training. I am so thankful that I took a plunge and tried out this program.  I feel like a brand new person, 12lbs down! Thank you Stacy for being our coach,motivator and our inspiration.  You are rock!

 

Kathy W: Urban Vybe’s Transform Program was a game changer!  After months of working out and a diet that I considered to be pretty healthy, I just could not drop past a certain point on the scale.  This program gave me the structure I needed for both diet and exercise.  It took commitment, of course, but the program had the right amount of structure and flexibility to make it doable. That target I had been chasing after – I ended up hitting my goal in only 2 weeks and surpassing my goal by the 4th week!  Thanks so much to Stacy and the awesome Urban Vybe instructors.
